The wilderness area is open from dawn to dusk. Morning visits may offer cooler temperatures and active wildlife. Confirm current hours with Seminole County before you go.
Bug Spray Is a Must
The wetlands and swamp habitats mean mosquitoes — especially in summer months. Pack strong bug repellent and you'll be much more comfortable.
