Your Privacy Rights
At The Black Hammock, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request deletion of any personal information we have collected through our Wi-Fi service.
What Data We Collect
When you use our Wi-Fi service via Facebook Login, we collect:
- Your name and email address from your Facebook profile
- Device information (MAC address, device type, IP address)
- Connection logs (date, time, duration of Wi-Fi use)
How to Request Data Deletion
You have three options to request deletion of your personal data:
Method 1: Email Request (Fastest)
- Subject line: “Data Deletion Request – Wi-Fi Service”
- Your full name
- The email address you used with Facebook Login
- Optional: Approximate date(s) you used our Wi-Fi
Method 2: Remove App Access via Facebook
Method 3: Unsubscribe from Marketing Emails
What Happens When You Request Deletion
Once we receive your deletion request, we will:
- Within 24-48 hours: Remove you from our email marketing list
- Within 30 days: Delete your personal information from our active database
- Send confirmation: Email you once the deletion is complete
Data We May Retain
For legal and operational reasons, we may retain certain information:
- Connection logs: Anonymized connection records may be kept for up to 90 days for network security and troubleshooting
- Legal compliance: Data required by law to be retained (e.g., for tax or legal purposes)
- Anonymized data: Aggregated, non-identifiable statistics about Wi-Fi usage

Re-Connecting After Deletion
If you delete your data and later use our Wi-Fi service again:
- You will need to log in with Facebook again
- We will collect your information again as a new user
- Your previous deletion request does not prevent future data collection if you choose to use the service again
